What we keep, and why

Tide Charters is a small company on Paros. We collect as little as we can and never sell it.

Your route

The route you draw on the chart is saved in your browser for this visit only (session storage). It changes the accent colour, how the fleet is sorted and which logbook entries come first. It never leaves your device unless you send it with an enquiry, and it disappears when you close the tab.

Enquiries

When you send an enquiry we receive your name, email, dates, number of guests, your message and the route if one is attached. We use these only to reply and, if you book, to prepare the charter. Enquiries that do not become bookings are deleted after 12 months.

Bookings

For a booking we also need guest names and passport numbers for the crew list that Greek port authorities require. We keep booking records for six years, as Greek tax law requires.

The logbook email

If you subscribe we keep your email address until you unsubscribe. Every letter has an unsubscribe link at the bottom.

Cookies and analytics

We do not use advertising cookies. We count page visits with a privacy-friendly tool that stores no personal data and sets no cookies.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete anything we hold about you by writing to quay@tide.gr. You can also complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority.
